Mining the Depths

I'll read almost anything and love what captures my imagination. Best of all is responding to books in the larger cultural sense, loving or loathsome. Literature should have a place in the wider world.

And I'm another GoodReads refugee.

Rules of Civility - I checked this out from the library digital lending program as an audio book. Clearly, that was a mistake. I just don't have time to listen to audio books, especially since the only way I have to do so is through the computer. (No, I do not have any variety of mp3 player. Yes, I'm serious.)So there was no practical way to listen to it, not in two weeks. I got about 20% through on the nine hour drive to my cousin's wedding—I could have gotten futher, but I also had my nook and The Googlization of Everything: to get through as well, and it took nearly four hours until I was at all interested.Ah well. Maybe I'll find the physical book somewhere. Maybe I'll try to check it out again. There's just so much to get through!
