I'll read almost anything and love what captures my imagination. Best of all is responding to books in the larger cultural sense, loving or loathsome. Literature should have a place in the wider world.
This is the book I've always wanted to read, and therefore the best book I've ever read (nonfiction).Of course, Bryson has been my favorite non-fiction author for a few years now, even though this is the first book of his I've actually read--despite owning at least five others. XD What can I say, the library gives me deadlines! Of course, now I have to buy this one.
