Mining the Depths

I'll read almost anything and love what captures my imagination. Best of all is responding to books in the larger cultural sense, loving or loathsome. Literature should have a place in the wider world.

And I'm another GoodReads refugee.

The Strange Case of Finley Jayne (Steampunk Chronicles, #0.5) - Kady Cross At least a solid 3.5, though it didn't convince me that I need to read the main series. I liked the character's introduction, but the too-modern mentality and anachronisms without reason would annoy me too much for any more pages, and especially for a romance with such a silly-named character that I read about in the synopsis. But this story was self-contained and intriguing, and I liked the female relationships.
